“Summer of Solutions is a great program! I enjoyed every aspect of it. I met great people and tried new thing like husk cherries and natural tye dying using vegetables like beets and purple cabbage.” – Aaliyah, Urban Farming Internship, 2014
You can support the 2015 Urban Farming Internship by following this link!
In order to support our interns and ensure that our organization remains sustainable, we charge a contract fee to each garden site. This partially supports the team that dedicates the growing season to caring for that site.
Of course, at the Wesley Colbert Zion Street Community Garden we do not charge a fee, because the garden is not connected to or supported by any institution.
Please help us raise the fee to cover the Zion Street Garden and support the interns that will spend the growing season raising food in community there.
