Exciting news from Summer of Solutions Hartford!

Today we’re launching our fundraising platform on ioby.org! Now you can donate online to support our urban farming projects in Hartford: https://ioby.org/project/summer-solutions-hartford We’re using this exciting new platform to fundraise the $4,000 we need to provide need-based stipends to our team of 20 full-time participants this summer!

“What’s ioby?”

“How do I pronounce it?”

“What does it mean?”

Ioby (eye-oh-bee) stands for In My Backyard, and it’s an online fundraising platform that supports grassroots environmental initiatives like ours. It connects donors to local projects that are making change right in their own back yards.

If you donate today, you can help support our team as we embark on a life-changing summer. When participants leave our program, they will have all the skills they need to become agents of change in our food system, including community organizing, media, gardening, cooking, nutrition, resource generation, leadership, and much more! (Learn more about our program @https://soshartford.wordpress.com
